I find inspiration around me, primarily with the natural world. I am intrigued by the overlapping shadows and patterns that occur with floral and fauna subjects. My two main interests in life are the botanical world and art.

Many of the varied disciplines that I have enjoyed are finding their way into my work, including oil painting, watercolors, quilting, drawing, photographs and needlework design. As an avid gardener, illustrating botanical samples is one of my favorite subjects. So many of these disciplines are expressing themselves in the design of textiles and surface designs.
