I'm a photographer and writer who lives in Sacramento, California.

I would describe my work as nature or "documentary" landscape photography focusing on a sense of place, or creating a thought-provoking, abstract vibe. I'm definitely interested in art for art's sake, because it trains you to recognize the beauty that's always surrounding us.

I especially enjoy the increasingly rare quiet and peaceful places in the world, and I like to take photos that you can "hear."

Inspirations include Ansel Adams for the approach and Bob Ross for composition.
