Nuance Maximalism

Capitalist individualism teaches us that our actions exist in a vacuum, here I am selling art. But I believe our actions and moralities actually have a potential to become anchors of belief in reality. By owning our identities we create ripples of awareness in society, just as the way media has slowly conditioned us to love and fear certain identities. If you share that goal, I welcome you go support me. Art is the road map to society. There are now seven billion people on this planet, I think it’s essential to the survival of our souls and our planet to welcome diversity, both in others and in ourselves. As an artist, my work is to bridge the gap between the third dimension and the collective unconscious. I make my work into multi-level metaphors, focusing on gender identity politics, emotional processing, and social dynamics. My work deals with modern day constructs framed as ancient epics. I do this because I see current events in reality as a growing disconnect between our heart and mind. With the tyranny of White Europe's colonialism, and the Western domination of information in the media. Sacred knowledge has been trapped within a limiting vernacular, tokenizing and disempowering ancient wisdom which we all depend on for survival. Time is an illusion and we're all simply repeating old lessons till we learn them. This art is about the decolonization of media and the decolonization of myself. It's about deconstructing gender norms and breaking a cycle of abuse and marginalization. Aside from paint, I do this work as an everyday performance of identity, I also make interactive electronic sculptures. I see things like fashion as a map to someone's identity. When it comes to how I present, this feels closer to my truth. This includes more than just clothes, it’s my voice, how I hold my body and face, it’s rooted in ideas and ways of thinking. I'm inspired by catharsis, emotions, queer art, erotica as well as the occult, alchemy, religion, transhumanism, biofeedback, psychology and sociology. I'm inspired by the fact that anyone can just sing whatever words come to their mind and it becomes a song. My pieces are rooted deeply in personal emotions, but my end goal isn't how I visually capture it, but instead the contextual feeling that gets established.
