Hey there! My name is Jielian, and I am a graphic designer and illustrator. My work combines the experimentation of letterforms with colors and mediums. I love to combine lettering with illustration. My approach combines traditional and digital media to make cute and lovely designs. I like soft colours that calm me down to see things from a new perspective, and bold color intrigues me to explore new adventures.

I am inspired by the people around me and from my multicultural background as I have studied in China, Brazil and the UK. By day, I am a Mandarin teacher, and by night, I experiment with both handcrafted and digital works, I enjoy combing hand lettering works with digital or mixed media ornaments to produce unique visuals.

I love to travel and cats, my goal is to travel around the world to be inspired by the people and cultures around the world.
