When I was younger, I remember thinking “the more complicated, the more detailed a piece, the better it is.” Though certain styles call for that type of elaboration, I have become much more selective in additions to my artwork. My graphic design experience influences the breadth of my artwork through my penchant for clarity, line variety, and playing with color and simple shapes.
