Greg van Rossem (aka “GvR”) discovered his passion for painting in 2002 while he was still working as a parole officer and raising a family. During that time he had several private showings. Now that he is retired, he is dedicating his time to his passion.

GvR’s works are inspired by the adventure he began during in 2020. He now lives full time at sea aboard his sailing Catamaran and travels the world. His brush strokes express the beauty of life at sea, the natural world and the amazing experiences of this unique life.

His work is primarily in acrylics using professional-quality heavy non-stretched cotton canvases. Because of the limited space on a sailboat, his paintings are unframed and of a moderate size; for example 12x8 or 4x16 .

All finished original pieces are rolled and sealed inside a cylindrical tube for safe storage and ease of shipping. Prints are also available and shipped worldwide.
