“I hope my work invites you to escape into a momentary daydream and feeling of wanderlust, whether it be looking to the future or reflecting on a memory of the past.”
Featured Artist: Made by Yi
Yi Ren is a UX designer and illustrator in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began illustrating as a way to get to know the area he was newly living in after moving to the US. This morphed into creating maps as a way to get know and remember different cities and countries he has visited, which quickly became one of my favorite subjects
"Since immigrating to the US from China a decade ago, I've been navigating unfamiliar territories: a new language, new cultures, new friendships, and a new career. During the COVID lockdown, I began exploring art and illustration, which opened yet another new world for me. I hope my art bring as much joy to others as they bring to me."

"I like to combine my past memories with imagery from my everyday life in London. I'm always using vibrant color palettes – influenced by the beautiful tropical colors of Okinawa, mixed with bold colour influences of American advertising graphic, to the sticker books from my childhood. My illustrations are usually complex and detailed – I love creating uplifting artwork that people can get lost in!"
Featured Artist: MariaMariaCreative
Maria Maria is a bit of everything all at once. Drawing inspiration from the world around them you’ll find bits of their community, family and Filipino culture woven through every piece of work. An expression of duality, Maria Maria strikes a balance between contradictions; hard and soft, minimal and over the top.
