Salthead Designs uses original artwork and photography created by Joseph and Kristine. Joseph has a B.F.A. He prefers painting and drawing in different mediums. He has a passion for the human figure, tribal rituals, and cultural ceremonies. He is a diverse and skilled artist who can create in many genres. Kristine is skilled digital photographer who prefers landscapes, nature, and abstract images. She prefers black and white photography as it is her belief that the dark and light contrasts lead more to an emotional response from the viewer. She is old school in that she prefers to set up her images through the lense of her camera versus spending endless time editing in a Photoshop program. This husband and wife duo are inspired by the captivating environment of the Outer Banks (Hatteras Island) of North Carolina in which they live.
