An award winning director and animator living and creating in Prague Özlem Akin opened ARTERY PRAGUE in Gorazdova as a multifunctional gallery. Besides its purpose as a gallery, ARTERY PRAGUE provides bottled wine, beers and ciders.

We teach the techniques used to create most of the artworks on sale or on display. We have a classroom and a workshop available, together with some basic tools and equipment.

ARTERY PRAGUE is a quirky space. It can be a gallery space, living room, cabinet of curiosities, classrom and a workshop for curious or a shop with design.

We are going against the idea of gallery as a sterile space, trying to showcase art and design items in a more “living” environment resembling a living room filled with various works of art, all of them for sale.
