Simply Deep Eggplant Purple Bath Mat

Worst online purchase I have made in sometime. First and foremost, right out of the packaging the bathmat is falling apart at the seams, exposing the white foam. Since the color of the mat is dark eggplant (and really it’s dull black), this is a glaringly noticeable disaster. Besides being dull black with little, if any, hints of purple (eggplant!), the mat’s fabric has a nap to it, so when pushed down, against the fabric’s grain, the fabric reveals an ugly light blue-ish tone from the bottom of the fabric (not lilac, not lavender, but dull blue) that peaks out through the darker color at the end of the fabric. It goes away when you push the grain back all the way the other way. But for a bathmat that’s you’re stepping on and off of, it’s really a disappointment. Also the edges are not straight—they are crooked and zig zagging. It looks like a hap-hazard high school sewing project. This was supposed to be a simple solid color bathmat, but with this grain issue and the flashes of hideous blue it’s turned into a real eyesore. It’s quite ugly. Delivery took forever and a day— as in three weeks. In this day and age of two day Amazon Prime shipping standard, this is just crazy. I don’t recommend these bathmats, and I’m reluctant to ever order from Society6 in the future. The quality on this bathmat is so poor it’s not worth half of what they’re charging. This bath mat was supposed to be replacing another mat from Walmart, made in China, which is of much better quality. Enough said? Picture attached to show all I’ve mentioned.
